HaceVerify is a private, account-based verification and trust platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you access and use our services. By creating an account or using HaceVerify, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
HaceVerify provides identity verification, background screening, vendor and anti-scam checks, and trust services through a secure, authenticated portal. All verification orders and their results are tied to your registered account. We do not offer anonymous verification ordering. This Policy applies to all users of the HaceVerify platform and any associated services.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and credentials necessary to create and maintain your account.
Identity and Verification Submission Data: When you submit verification orders, we collect the personal information you provide about the subject of the check, which may include full name, date of birth, country, phone number, email, and identity document details, depending on the check type and jurisdiction.
Business Verification Data: For business checks, we may collect registered business names, company numbers, director details, and related business information as required to fulfil the service.
Order and Transaction Data: We record details of the verification orders you place, including check type, country, status, and payment transaction references. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by third-party processors.
Device, Usage, and Log Data: We collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, session duration, and error logs to operate and improve the platform.
Communications and Support Data: If you contact us for support or provide feedback, we retain the content of those communications to assist you and improve our services.
Account Access: To authenticate you and provide access to your secure portal, order history, results, and records.
Delivering Verification Services: To process verification orders, route them to appropriate providers, and return results to your account.
Portal History and Records: To store your verification history so you can return to view, download, or share your results at any time.
Fraud and Abuse Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent use of the platform, protect other users and subjects, and enforce our Terms of Service.
Customer Support: To respond to support requests and resolve issues with your account or orders.
Service Improvement: To analyse usage patterns and improve the platform's features, reliability, and user experience.
Legal and Safety Purposes: To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal process, and protect the rights and safety of users, subjects, and third parties.
HaceVerify routes verification checks through third-party providers who perform the actual identity, background, phone, public footprint, and other checks on our behalf. The specific providers used may vary by country, check type, and service availability. These providers are bound by appropriate data processing and confidentiality obligations.
Identity and Verification Providers: We work with licensed identity verification, KYC, background screening, and anti-fraud providers. Provider selection depends on jurisdiction and service type.
Payment Processors: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. See Section 5 for more details.
Infrastructure, Analytics, and Communications Providers: We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, error tracking, and user communications. These providers process data strictly to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
HaceVerify allows users to select their country, after which relevant pricing and quotes may be presented in local currency where supported.
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Depending on your jurisdiction and the services you are purchasing, payment processing may be handled by Stripe, Flutterwave, or other regional processors where those are available and appropriate. Not all payment processors are available in all countries or for all service types. We do not store or retain full payment card details.
With Service Providers: We share data with verification, payment, infrastructure, analytics, and communications providers as described in Section 4, strictly to provide our services.
With Law Enforcement and Legal Process: We may disclose information where required by applicable law, court order, regulatory requirement, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
With User-Authorised Counterparties: Where a specific product flow requires sharing results with an authorised third party at your direction (such as sharing a trust badge or report), we process that sharing only to the extent you have authorised it.
We do not sell personal data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
HaceVerify operates as a global platform with country-specific service availability. Data may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside your own. We take reasonable steps to ensure that cross-border data transfers are handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
All verification orders, results, and records are accessible only through your authenticated account portal. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We retain your account information and associated verification records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise any such rights, or to raise a privacy concern, please contact us through the official HaceVerify support channel.
Please note that some information may be required to continue providing services to you, and deletion requests may be subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.
HaceVerify services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of HaceVerify after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us through the official HaceVerify support or contact channel available within the platform.
